Hi! Here's a meme I did of my cartoon crushes. I know some of them are a little weird but it's totally okay to have crushes on animals. Here they are...

Because He's Interesting: Orson Pig (Garfield and Friends) When I was a kid, I used to have a massive crush on Orson. I literally would fawn over him just like the Bimbettes do with Gaston. Orson is a really nice guy. He's sweet, is a great leader, has a mature sounding voice, and is a good singer (which is why he probably sings the most songs in the U.S. Acres/Orson's Farm segments). I also love how even though he's the “strait man” of the group, he has an active imagination and loves books. And his “Power Pig” persona is adorable! Now I only put this one on here because I don't have a huge crush on Orson anymore, but I used to.

Because He's Handsome: Flynn Rider/Eugene Fitzherbert (Tangled) I'm really proud of Disney for making the most realistic guy there ever is in an animated movie. I would love to trade places with Rapunzel in that boat ride. He's also an orphan which gives him even more value. He also started off as an anti-hero, and I believe all anti-heroes aren't bad. They're just misunderstood. Oh, and I think his hair is boss! So slick! He's definitely one of my favorite Disney princes.

Because He's Adorable: Hokey Wolf (The Huckleberry Hound Show) Okay, now this may be a little strange but I'm not afraid to admit that I have a HUGE crush on Hokey Wolf! And after only watching two episodes on my DVD (that I got for Christmas 2019)! I watched “Castle Hassle” for the first time, and when he charms the Queen my heart melted! I'm not kidding. After the cartoon was over I had to go back and tape the scene with my digital camera. And he reminds me of Top Cat because they wear the same hat and they talk alike. His sidekick Ding-A-Ling is also adorable but I like Hokey even better. He's just a handsome wolf in general. He makes me behave like I did with Orson long ago! (see top) Now I want to see more of this character!

Because He's Tender: Charlie Bucket (Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory) I love Charlie. Not only is he cute, but he's a very nice boy. I love the compassion he has for both his family and for Willy Wonka at the end of the movie. He's the right kind of person to pick for an heir. Oh, and I also have a thing for blonde boys. My boyfriend is also blonde so that's good.

Because He's Rollicking: Robin Hood (Robin Hood) I know a lot of other people who either do or used to have a crush on Robin Hood. I mean, he's kind, sweet and he's just a hot fox. Now, about his rollicking. He’s a great dancer, and very fit. Must be from shooting all those arrows and swinging on ropes all the time.

Because He's Inspiring: Simba (The Lion King) Simba is just an inpsiring character in general. He taught me to learn from my mistakes. That's exactly what he had to go through. Besides, how can you not feel bad for a character this cute?

Because I Admire His Strength: Hercules (Hercules) Hercules may be strong with those muscles, but he also has a strong heart, and is willing to do anything for the ones he loves. I also likes that he tries his hardest even when things get awkward.

Because I Admire His Courage: Kristoff (Frozen franchise) I love Kristoff. He's so adorable and brave! Especially the part where he goes back to Arendelle to Anna after he leaves her there. It shows he truly cares about her. He's also built good, since he's been harvesting ice all his life.

Because I Admire His Willpower: Hiccup (How To Train Your Dragon franchise) Hiccup is just the cutest DreamWorks character. He loves his tribe but he has this willpower with Toothless. I can relate to him very much. To get off the subject of willpower, I love how he's brave and strong but awkward and clumsy at the same time. And whenever he sees a cute animal he just wants to go pet it. And I am talking about dragons.

Because He's My Type Of Man: Prince Eric (The Little Mermaid) Handsome? Check. Great hair? Check. Great eyes? Check. Rich? Check. Outdoorsy? Check. Loves dogs? Check. Let's face it, Prince Eric is the ideal Disney prince. No wonder Ariel was so smitten over him.

Because He's Just Like Me: Aladdin (Aladdin) Aladdin is one my BIGGEST cartoon crushes of all time. He's like me because we both have a hard time telling the truth sometimes. And we're both a little bit awkward. I'd trade places with Jasmine anytime. Oh, and he has a magic carpet. Boom.

Because He's Who I Strive To Be: Thomas O'Malley (The Aristocats) I love Thomas O'Malley. He's a very handsome cat, and a smooth guy who can wiggle his way out of any situation. Since he lives on the streets he often improvises. He's a good singer and his opeing song, "Thomas O'Malley Cat" is one of my favorite underrated Disney songs. I even sang it at a karaoke party. He's also a dedicated father who'll do anything to help his family, but this isn't until the end of the movie. When things get rough in real life, I would often say to myself, “What would Thomas O'Malley do?” It helps. Trust me.

Because There's No One Else Like Him: Johnny (Hotel Transylvania franchise) This one was hard because there are a lot of fictional boys who are alike. But Johnny got married to a vampire, had a son that looks exactly like him, and is also a DJ. Plus, he's hilarious. I love that in a guy.

Because We're Yin And Yang: Shaggy Rogers (Scooby-Doo franchise) Shaggy, for sure. We're Yin and Yang because I like cats and he likes dogs. I'm brave and he's a coward. But we both say the word “like” in almost every sentence and we both love food!

Because His Voice Melts My Heart: Prince Edward (Enchanted) Oh man, this character is such a good singer! I have the Enchanted soundtrack, and every time I hear James Marsden's voice, I get chills and my heart pounds. Not to mention the character himself is very dreamy. He may be a stereotypical "prince" character, but he also is a little bit unique, too.

Because Of The Things He Says: Top Cat (Top Cat) My favorite animal hubby! I have a big crush on T.C. and because of this I made a cat persona named Too Cute, as the girlfriend of T.C. in the 1961 cartoon (because in the 2011 movie he has Trixie). Now you all know that T.C. is a smooth-talker and a charmer. In the very first Top Cat episode I saw, “The Tycoon”, he charms the department store owner's wife. He also does this a lot with Officer Dibble. Here are some examples of lines that made me feel it in the heart: “Of course, you are in pictures, aren't you? Oh, such beauty.” “Don't talk, my sweet, not a whisper.” “Somewhere out there is something for everybody.” “Here I am, Earthbound, while my heart is up there amidst the stars.” And probably the one that got me the most of all: “Well, our only hope now, is that we, together, can see him through. We're all he has, you know. Yes, we're right here, Benny boy. Right by your side. And we'll stay close day and night. What's that? Come closer, he wants us both to hear.”

Because He'd Always Be There For Me: Jonny Quest (Jonny Quest) When I was younger, I had a crush on Jonny Quest. I wished he was real. He's got smooth blonde hair and blue eyes, and he also has a dog. He's perfect. I love how he's well-educated and adventurous. If I was his girlfriend, I bet he'd fight a robot to save me.

Because I Can: The Beast/Prince Adam (Beauty and the Beast) I know a lot of other girls who have had a crush on the Beast. He's just so cute!!! And he's not evil. Just a misunderstood prince who needed love. See what I said about anti-heroes? Oh, and I was also in a local theater production of Beauty and the Beast and the guy who played the Beast was very cute, and so nice to me.
