Description
Newest addition to my collection of firearms. A Romanian built PSL-54C, a RPK turned into a sniper rifle similar in appearance to the Dragunov SVD.One reason I bought it was because it uses the same 7.62mm x 54R ammunition my bolt action Mosin Nagant uses.

I've been saving up to buy a parts kit for one, but I might get an AK-74 Carbine. Either way it's still cheaper than buying a "pre-built" one (for lack of a better word).

AK-74s are awesome rifles I really like mine, though the PSL has the range advantage.

How mach you pay for it? And is the site callbrated on it? The gun is so sweat cus it uses the ak firing design so it wont ever jam. Also they pack a good punch my gear bearly saved me from one once knocked me flat on my back thoe, was luky the sniper wasint a better shot.

A little over $600 with the AK bipod.
Price dropped gradually after a while, I think it was like $800 a while ago. The scope needs to be calibrated though.
Thinking of getting a more advanced Russian one though with a illuniated reticle.

Its strange when I picked up the rifle, a worker there who's a former marine that was in Iraq. Said his unit captured one, but without the scope. He thought they probably hid it.

Id try to git a M82a2 Barett its the best AMR out there. And i was in sudan I'm a merc i fight for money not a reguler milltary. see some cool shit and watched a M16 exspode in a guys hands once. Never use a m16 in field there a range gun not a real use weapon. I prefer a ak 108 or 107, deawoo usas12, and ofcours the RPD with a custom bacpack feed. Heavy weapons and heavy armor (think like the the suit from hurt lucker.) the only way to through a party.

Plus there are some nice rpgs out there the rpg7 is most used but the lancousies samuri urban warfair systome is good and the rpg-16 (ezer reload). But there are sevral automatic ones that are good. my qcik list of guns [link]

Go with a RPG-29 if you can, though of course the RPG-7 is extremely common.

Ahhh thought they were reloadable my mistake. RPG-7 is the way to go then, especially if you can get the new with then tandem charges. Though in wars in Africa the regular RPG will do nicely.

I'm someone who would quickly defend someone with sheer firepower. Even walked onto my porch with my AK before when I heard people fighting.
Btw I found out RPG-29s are indeed reloadable, though the 105mm RPG rounds are probabably pretty pricey. And I dont think you'll be running into any modern armor in Sudan. XD

modern no ww2 hand me downs maybe. A goddess damned tiger! Had to git it with a hand granade. If it works ppl will use it. But i don;t like liquidation jobs but money is money and im paid i fight. But as a merc i can use weapons that the UN bans, flamthroughers daisy cuters, poison gas, and other weapons banned by the ganiva convention. And wiping out a village of 100 ppl or less only takes 5 men about 30mins if there thuro.

Wrst thing was i ran in to a modern german panther battle tank in some desert shit hole once. I want to know how a bunch of insergents got that monster. Damn thing nearly killed me i mean i was looking down the damn bearle i saw my life flash befor my eyes. Never carrie regrest cause when you near the end they come back to bight you. Was looking up ppl from school when i got back from that paid off all my deats and colected from those who owed me lol. You never know what you'll see like 8, 6, and 5 year old kids in combat gear fighting. MG's do a number on children......... "Rule 1 never conect to the enemy treat them as targits not humans. Rule 2 cut your self of from your oun humanity too barrie your human weeknesses. And rule 3 acsept that you will day sooner or later so you will not fear its coming." My rules of war its how i can do what i do with out being a drugy, drunker, or smoker. Also having aspurgers helps too. x3

you should look at leapers scopes if you want illuminated on the cheap. many airsofters use them on their rifles and are a very reliable brand. dont know how they will perform on a real weapon though.

Hmmm Leapers scopes seem very nice, though I'd want one with out the flip up covers. The PSL uses a powerful round and I've seen on several occassions the scope cover flipping back down due to the kick of the round.
Would much prefer a scope where the covers could be removed entirely. Though I'd have to get a scope mount before I can get a scope. Unless I can find a way to modify my PSL scope.

my dad just got an airsoft m99 for $80 and that came with a decent sized apereature on both ends of the 4x scope that came with it. it would definitely fit the scope covers that you usually find. I have also seen many people run with sniper scopes on their assault rifles and i think they are more powerful than the 4x my dad got and still have the same aperature. look around, go to an airsoft shop is my best idea. They have a great many assortment of scopes and sights there. but unfortuantely, no warsaw equipment with the exception of the dovetail mount.

I've been looking at Kalinka optics for a while now, still need to get that PU scope and mount for my Mosin Nagant. (I'm a sucker for getting the scopes actually made for firearms. XD)
As for my PSL I believe I'm going to get this one. The Russian range finder reticle is interesting but I still prefer a mil-dot reticle. XD
