Description Inspired by music that makes the heart sing, has feeling, and emotion, and paints with notes what an artist does with color. I love music, and this peace was inspired by the first time I heard some really awesome Jazz.

Thanks. It was not only an illustration of the first great Jazz music that I have heard, it was also my very first abstract painting. Untill that point I had only done realism or still lifes.

Thanks again, and have a great day!

This is truly exciting to the limit! Describing it will be a challenge to me, but I'll try it anyways because this picture is so special.

One thing is for sure - the colours are there!! This gave me different feelings at the same time, I've always found abstract pictures as an emotional sort of creativity in art, it's like you get to know your inner self or the artist who made it in a way that's hard with words. The warm colours made it look like it's about temptation or glowing love, if you catch my drift. But of course; jealousy and rage could be an option too when in contact with the cool blue which for me means something like sorrow or distance - like you've just been rejected and feel rather low about yourself.

The green and yellow gave me an youthfull and chilish image of a person's behaviour or situation, someone who's always optimistic and happy about him/herself and the surroundings. And alas - the dark thick lines forming the instrument and notes. This made me think that you want the viewer to realise that it's about music that can get to your personality, and since it's sort of breaking the smoothness the other colours created it gets you back to real life instead of a dream state - but the emotions are still there.

Yeah, sorry about that babling. I got carried away with the colours and the way you used them. I just think that it really suits ytour feelings about jazz music, and that it shows in this painting.

Thanks for checking out my stuff, and giving such a great critique.

This was the first abstract painting I ever did, and I was a bit intimidated by the prospect, but I had the idea and I just could not let it sit in my head. It all started when I was listening to this young gye who played the saxophone, he was totally awesome. I kind of stumbled on it. I was rollerblading around a new community I had just moved in to and saw a crowd around a small lakeside park. I herd some music that I thought was decent so I went for a listen. The music was more then decent. The person playing must have been no older then 19 and he was incredible. I wish I had gotten his name and a cd of his music. Up until then I had never really listened to jazz. In my ignorance I thought it was all Kenny G elevator music, but this was incredible. I had to put into color my experience.

Thanks again…

Have a great day!

Hmm. Judging by your view of the story you could say that this is your personal sign of a new begining in your life! ^^ With the moving and the first time really liking jazz, I mean. ^^

I guess so...I never really thought of it that way, but life is full of beginings and ends. This one was no exception to drama, but it turned out to be a good thing in my life.

I know what you felt, jazz is created to be heard live. Recently I was in Barcelona and then I met a jazz band. They were playing on the street and people were listening and dancing. There must have been some magic, I've never seen such amazing think, people smiling and having fun in such spontaneous way. Inspiring experience.

Have a great day too!

That sounds like a really neat musical experience. And wow...Barcelona...Do you travel in Europe a lot? Or Are you from There?

I would love to see some of europe, I think it would be awsome. We definitly don't have any thousand year old cities in the USA.

Well, I don't think I travel much, however I have already seen some pieces of different european countries, like Spain, France, Germany or Czech Republic. And from every bigger cities I have seen, the best is Barcelona and in my opinion, is much better than Paris
You will not regret seeing Europe

Thanks again

Have a great day!

Thanks. I think that there is a lot of emotion tied up in music, and I love the way it moves. My goal was to make the art sing with colors and rithm. I think that music is one of Gods great gifts for the enjoyment of mankind. That is why I love so much of it.

It was a fun painting to do.

Thanks a lot. It was the first abstract thing I ever did. I was so afraid, because until that time I only painted real objects in real environments. A mentor of mine who obviously had more faith in my talents then myself, challenged me to go farther, and he was right.

Thanks again for checking out my art.
