I've used GoAnimate once. From my experience, it was not good to me; too limited and messy for my taste.EDIT:Β This was an old thing. I understand that there's a good and a bad for everything now. I'm sorry if I offended you, and I acknowledge that this is a one-sided work.
EDIT 2: Why are people still faving this? I think it's trash!

I don't use GoAnimate! and I don't bother. Most of the videos suck anyway.

I personally see it as a video creation tool, not an animation tool. I don't see why they call it "animation."
Not to mention the young kids who actually think they're animating. Real life is gonna destroy them if they continue to think animation is like that.

I used to make videos on Goanimate all the time, but then the grounded shit started and they got rid of some of themes like Star Trek, Underdog, Street Fighter, etc and file sharing, etc.

GoAnimate isn't like Adobe Animate, it behaves like PowerPoint, where it's like slide after slide.
Yeah, it's intended for quick and easy animations, so how would you expect something meant for quick and easy animations that acts like another Adobe Animate? Adobe Animate is frame after frame. GoAnimate is scene after scene (similar to PowerPoint)

There was an online animator by Miniclip that was simple to use and utilized frame-by-frame animation, including puppetry. And it's free. Then there's Pivot Animator which, while using puppet-like stick figure on a stand-alone executable, is also a free and easy-to-use frame-by-frame animation software. Just wanted to let you know that easily accessible animators that act as either somewhat like a simpler version of Adobe Animate/Flash or an alternate to it can and do exist. Heck, you don't even need to sign up for Miniclip's thing if you wanna use it.

Honestly I agree. Being a beginner animator myself, I can say that GoAnimate is more like Go Drag-and-drop.

Also, I used GA as a starter software before I got onto other sites to hone my animation and design skills...not that I don't use it anymore, my GoPlus was cancelled; everyone's else's was. Plus the social features were removed, making the site pretty much useless.
