Wow, I guess I accidentally continued tori-the-eevee1234.deviantart.… this picture didn't I? That wasn't intentional at all. I edited little bits of the story from that picture to fit this better, so here it is once more!

The farther away I got from the newly restored Temporal Tower, the more each step felt like a struggle. My paws felt like stone. I struggled to move my legs before giving up. Sparx kept moving, oblivious. I wanted to call out to him, but I saw a glowing orb of light drift upwards past my side.

'What...?' I thought to myself.

Another orb followed the first, pulsing gently. I forcefully reached a paw up to touch it, but it phased right through with nothing but a faint tingling sensation. Suddenly, I felt very lightheaded. I nearly staggered and fell over but managed to keep myself upright. I shook my head to clear it and searched for Sparx. He had gotten farther ahead, but had turned around and was staring at me. His eyes were incredibly wide. His mouth moved wordlessly, then he darted back to me.

"T-Tori? What is this? Why are you glowing?!" He cried.
"Sparx, I... I don't know." I whispered in response, staring down at my paws.

It suddenly occurred to me that I couldn't feel the rough stone of the pathway that led to Temporal Tower under my paws any more. I couldn't feel it, but I could see it. If I looked downwards, I could see through my paws. In all honesty, I expected to feel something along the lines of overwhelming shock and horror. Instead, I was calm. All I felt was understanding.

'So it's finally time, huh?' I mused. "Sparx..."
"Look at you! You're disappearing!" He cried, reaching a hand through my rapidly fading leg. The movement caused more of the glowing orbs to float into the sky above. "You're... disappearing." The full weight of what he said suddenly hit him like a rampaging Aggron. "N-No! You can't be!"
"It's true, Sparx. I'm disappearing." I said slowly, my ears drooping. "And... I've known for a while now."
"You what?! You knew this was going to happen?! Since when?" He shouted.
"Since when we fought Dusknoir at the Rainbow Stoneship. He told me... He told me that once we fixed the future, I would cease to exist because that's the future I came from. A future where the world was frozen in time." The fading had reached my shoulders now. I had no idea how I remained in an upright position.
"Y-You can't just leave me! You're my partner, my friend!"
"Do you think I want to leave?!" I snapped, blinking tears from my eyes. "I don't want to disappear! Nobody does! But we- I - have to. If I don't disappear, time will continue to stop and your world will become the future that Grovyle and I fought so fervently to change."
"B-But..." He stammered, tears streaming down his cheeks.
I let my own tears flow freely now. "I'll miss you, you massive dork."

My partner flung his arms around my neck and hugged me as hard as he could given the circumstances. He came away holding the Red Bow that I kept tied around my neck.
"I-I'll miss you too. But I'll never forget our adventures together. You'll still be my partner, wherever or whoever you are. We'll see eachother again someday, won't we?" He said, trying his hardest to give me a smile.
"Of course we will. You won't get rid of me that easily. Now, I want you to promise me something.”
“What?” He sniffled.
“Promise me you won’t give up after I’m... gone. Don’t ever give up. Live for me... okay?” He gave me a slight nod and a feeble smile. “One, don’t shirk work!”
He stared at me curiously before catching on. He wiped his eyes and raised two digits. "Two, run away and pay!"
"And three..." I took a deep breath before facing the sky and giving it the biggest smile I could muster.
Before I could finish, the last golden wisps of light vanished, as I did as well. My partner’s mouth gaped open for a few heartbeats before fresh tears rolled down his cheeks. He hung his head and smiled sadly.

"...Smiles go for miles.” He finished quietly.
He stood there for what felt like an eternity for him, staring at the spot where I had once been standing. Slowly, as if his legs were made of stone, he turned and began walking to the Rainbow Stoneship. He gripped my Red Bow tightly in his paws.
“I won’t give up. I’ll keep living for Tori. Because that... was her final wish.”

Yup. Here it is. I still wish you and your partner would have recited the Wigglytuff Guild's morning chant one last time before you disappeared. But then again if that happened I'd probably drown in my tears.

About the new PMD game, "Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon" (A+ title there, really), if we get another dungeon like Aegis Cave I will straight up snap my DS in half. That dungeon was already enough of a pain in the ass, nobody wants to go through it again.
