Description
This is my cosplay of Delta, the big daddy and main character of Bioshock 2 and my girlfriend Jenn as the little sister. Delta took about two weeks to make with a lot of helping hands and the little sister was literally done in one day.We used these outfits for anime north and received tons of attention and had out photos taken by at least 5 people at a time after every 10 steps literally.
One of the photographers who took our picture at night gave us his card to go see him so we got this professional shot done and I decided to upload it. We had a blast at the convention and I'm glad Jenn did too because it was her first year being there and now she is very excited to be joining me at Fan Expo as little sister with Big daddy once more.

I did this in two weeks lol. I used fiber glass for the helmet and just a tip: get some of that car window tinted plastic and put it on the inside. This way no one can see in but you can still see out of it just fine.

Good idea for the glass ( I really did search to get an idea like that) and I tried to do an helmet with fiber glass, but got some technical problems and ended up doing it with cardboard
And I also worked on it for 2 weeks (but I could only after school)

No, I didn't even know there was such a site. I basically just looked at reference pictures and then got some crafting plastic sheets and the top of a garbage can to cut out a model for the base of the helmet and then just put fiber glass over it.

Thanks a lot though I don't think a lot of people even knew where it was from haha. People just seemed to like that it looked crazy and had lights on it XD.

Well there was a number of people who knew but you could always just hear once in a while everyone shouting "Big Daddy! Big Daddy!" and the few people amongst them "What's a bioshock?"

Yeah I'll be going next year most likely as the big daddy but I might make some modifications and rebuild the whole helmet.

Haha that would be cool. I might remake the helmet for next year or possibly create the new Lancer Big daddy but I'm not sure yet. If I start early this time then I should be able to improve it unlike this one where I started it two weeks before the convention and some how finished it lol.

No, I didn't. I actually don't have the game, nor have I played it but my twin sister has it and i've watched her play, LoL. We've been too darn busy to even think about the DLC for Bioshock 2 XD

You can't honestly be afraid of the second one, you're pretty much a walking tank. I have a combo that works all the time and I find it to be my favorite way to play.

She's a good person for doing so too! lol I think what I liked most about the game was just the relationship you have with the little sisters in the second one. I could never bring myself to harvest them to get the bad ending.

To be honest if I lived in rapture I'd rather go in to the protector program rather than splice up and go insane or be killed by a splicer.
