Quicky Design of PSP2.0I found out at the end of the day the Kotaku was running unofficial design challenge of next PSP.
Spent couple of hours on it... so it's pretty rough...
Also, I wish i had a 3D program. it would have looked better rendered...
*IMPORTANT NOTICE!!!
-I HAD NO IDEA THIS IMAGE WOULD DRAW OVER 15,000 PEOPLE IN ONE DAY... FOR THAT MATTER IT REALLY MADE THE CONTEST SUPER UNFAIR. I USUALLY GET COUPLE HUNDRED VIEWS PER DAY. SO I THOUGHT IT WOULDN'T UPSET THE VOTE THAT MUCH... BUT THIS LITTLE REQUEST OF MINE MUDDLED THE GOOD SPORT OF FAIR GAME OF CONTEST. I AM ASKING TO HAVE MY ENTRY TAKEN OFF SINCE I INADVERTENTLY BECAME A CHEATER. But you can enjoy the design here...
I DO SUPER APPRECIATE ALL YOUR COMMENT THOUGH. I will try to compile the thoughts behind this design soon. It will address a lot of comments you are making.

If that was the new PSP I would be buying my first ever PSP, not a fan of the current PSP designs, they all failed pretty hard.
+having phone capabilities would be pretty kick-ass, save me money from having to buy a new phone xD.

Kind of like a cross between the DS and the PSP Go.
This is an awesome design, although having the control unit open out like that kind of makes me feel I might break it by accident while being very engrossed in a game.
Either way, this is really cool!

niiiiiiiiice, I reckon you should scrap the protective cover on the back, anchor it on the top with hard sections and bendy hinge like sections so the flap covers the screen at front when the control unit is closed and it folds back to lock into the void when the control unit is open.
I just personally cannot stand things that come with detachable additions, if it aint part of the system, it's not coming with me.

Yeah that is pretty neat, but it doesn't have anything to protect the screen D:
Besides the touch screen would make it clear that it is copying the DS, that might cause new fans to avoid it.
Its better then the real design though

this is it dude. this is the PSP people would buy.
dual analogue, touchscreen, camera, plus it looks thick enough to have some power underneath the hood.

This is really great as a concept design. I think if its so popular its a sure winner. I strongly suggest you keep it in the comp.

Taking your entry down would be pretty silly - voting is just that, and all entrants have an equal opportunity to share their design. Besides, clearly people like this design and robbing them of their chance to see it made isn't very nice at all, but that is only my opinion, and one shouldn't take anything I say all that damned seriously
That being said, this is a very cool design and I do wish it would have the opportunity to be made
