Quick drawing, Quck color slapping done for "GamerZorZ"Unlike my other Samus pics, this is not an actual depiction of how things would work... More of an abstract piece... If that makes sense...
Yes, I know when she becomes a "ball", it's more of an energy force... But, I never liked that premise... Sort of like "alien technology" cop out... Oh wait... Samus' suit is an alien made suit...
Oh well... you know what I mean.
She looks so peaceful though...

The ball itself is about five feet in diametre. Any decently flexible woman of an average size with NORMAL SIZED BREASTS (slaps over-sized-boob-obsessed animators/artists) can probably squeeze into a ball that size and be relatively comfortable.
Although, the ball really does sploof her bits and pieces into itty-bits of particles, giving her a kind of omni-presence within the morph-ball suit, which gives her 360 degree coverage around the ball, so no one and sneak up on her.

Actually, it's about 1 foot tall/wide/whatever. That's how it can fit in holes in the Metroid Prime universe.

I like this a lot, a lot of people forget that in the original Metroid, her body simply curled up into a round ball called the Maru Mari, this brings me back to those days.

as to the peaceful part, I read somewhere, can't remember, but it said that the morphball was actually used by the Chozo as a meditation instrument which allowed the user to see other things, (which would explain the 3rd Person view on Prime).
