Whoa, that is a nice capture. Excellent perspective, composition is good, using the hard lines in the building dynamically. Very nicely done!
Keep it up!

the angle and perspective of this shot is just great. i love how it receeds to your upper left corner... looks like it goes on forever and ever. the monochromaticness of it is also very nice and adds to the overall effect of the photo. very crisp. very nice

This is in LA DEFENSE - With a car you reach the top of the Champs Elysee get through place de l'etoile - go on strait until porte de maillot and strait to la Defense
La concorde - Champs Elysee - Arc de Triomphe (place de l'Etoile) - Porte Maillot - La grande Arche de la Defense all this is in the same perspective...
If you take the Metro at LA concorde you take the ligne number 1 (Chateau de Vincennes- La defense) direction to LA Defense...
very simple
bon voyage !!

heh-heh... I've got a few that go that far back as well. I just read your bio and we've got much in common. We're about the same age with similar tastes and interests.
I've read your bit on "The Passion.." Have you seen it? I saw it and I didn't really get any antisemite vibes at all. I suppose if a person was already antisemite it wouldn't change anything. And, you're obviously in a more visibly religiously conflicted area than I... but still, the movie just made me angry that most "Christians" that fawn over this movie.. aren't even listening to his message, ie. "if you live by the sword, you die by the sword..." And, still they can blindly follow a group of warmongering corporate criminals without even questioning the real motives.
Sorry to ramble, but the movie didn't give me any antisemite feelings at all, but it did give a few anti-christian ones though.

We Jews are fed up of being always shown like the devel.
So tired that sometimes we would like to be like the Jews that some people are painting -
Strong, powerfull, cruel, omnipresent, leaders of the world...etc etc -
In democraty, every opinion is good to be heard but there are some rules and limits to respect.
Most of the people have a lack of knowledge about history and religion that's why they are rushing to see that movie.
Everyone knows that ignorance is the source of racism and violence and I'm not sure that viewing that film (made by a fundamentalist) will help them understand and learn peace or love.
Hate and violence are so easy to be spread
I hate blood...we have enough here!

> Hate and violence are so easy to be spread
Check the news, guess what they got most of? Yeah - hate, violence and sex.
Southpark paints a good picture?
> Strong, powerfull, cruel, omnipresent, leaders of the world...etc etc -
I presume that's irony?
One racism definition is:
> the prejudice that members of one race are intrinsically superior to members of other races
Everyone should strive to make people understand others aren't different based on who they were borne by, or which country they live in.

sure !
so is it not a lack of imagination to make a movie to show in a theater (or in any art - like the swimming pool of blood - if you heard about it ...) what people already see in the street ?
or is there some goals - religious, politic goals ?
once more: Gibson and his father are fundamentalists
I don't nead their art and I'm ready to fight against it.
Thanks God in France Jean marie Lepen don't make movies

Swimming pool? No, but by the description that sounds enough. About the most popular person on dA mix in sex with blood and voilence - and good technique too - but I wonder if the last "quality" even matters.
> or is there some goals - religious, politic goals ?
Economic - get more money. What sells the most with least amount of effort gives the most money back - thus that is what they strive for. (Swedish free TV is approx 30% reality shows - and hey, what other ones can you get away with showing sex and violence on any time of the day? Genious.)

Yes, I can understand that. I don't know what it's like to walk in your shoes. And, I can see what you mean about some possibly getting the wrong idea from the movie. I thought the portrayal of Pontius was probably overly sympathetic. They did show the Roman soldiers as being absolute pure barbarians, but they kind of smoothed it over with the thoughtful representation of Pontius... if they were going to show both impressions of the Romans, they should have done the same for the Jewish leadership... which they did not. You come away with the impression that the Romans were possibly rational, but that the Jews were just selfishly hell-bent on power. I'm no theologian, but I'm guessing the portrayal was indeed biased.
Still, the movie does make you think, and the more I think about it, the more I'm starting to think Gibson was in fact insensitive. It'll be interesting to see how it plays in the "holyland" and Europe.

you're probably right - I didn't see the movie - I would like to make by myself an idea (I didn't publish my judgement because I have to see it before...this was just an internet article to fill up my page
When I'll have time I will download it from Kaza - You can't see this film nore in France nore in Israel.
