'Cuse me for the lack of imagination in the title.
I hate the fact my half-assed pencil sketches always look better than my inked works.
I didn't try when I did this.
And with that kinda pose I was certain I'd end up scrapping this.
But fuck-fuckety-fuck-fuck-fuck, it turned out like this.
I just wanted to do a bit more... masculine Arcanine gijinka.
Maybe a bit more simplified, too?
And maybe also because I needed a gijinka I could abuse over at y!Gallery.
I'll call him Huang.
Ideas for last name are welcome.

I got to thinking about the problem and I think it's because we get too careful with pens compared to pencil sketching and so the line loses that "alive" feeling it has.

Of course they do! They haz shadingz! ^^ You could try sketching a little over already inked pictures - it adds some smoothness to them.
And... aside that as far as i;m concerned this guy is a pokemon (

My inked pictures tend to end up being colored, y'know. At that point they're called linearts.
Unless I get lazy.
And FYI, Huang is a Chinese name. Yamamoto is Japanese.

It depends on personal classifications. It's not like it's some universal law.
