Great work! I love the detail and coloration... espically in the shadows.

Very nice, the teeth,as you know, are so great, When I was in art school my painting teacher said that there are 2 ways people see the world, most see the shadows, and the lights and darks, and a few can see the broad spectrum in each color, I see the color, as do you. Great work.

Thank you. I am glad you like it.
I do love working with color. It is usually the first ting I see. That being said I do tend to work with a dark pallet but I have been trying to change that up a bit over the years. With the exception of a couple of water colors I did a few months ago, I havent been able to paint much. I spend most of my time at work creating flat 2D vector images for signs and car decals and when I get home I just dont feel like working on anything new and when I do feel up to it I feel guilty if I am not designing something new for work. *sigh* The last work I had been working on (with the exception of the watercolors I mentioned) were paintings in oil paint, oil bar, and oil pastel. I was workend in a type of optical color mixing style and tried to eliminate any proof of line by blurring everything into each other. I was starting to really enjoy it and I hope to make time to get back into it by summer. Thanks again for checking out my gallery.
