FINISHED DEVIATION: [link]Anyways, let me explain my steps!:
1. Pure scribble. I jot down whatever position I have in my head and it usually only makes sense to me :3
2. Define it a little bit and outline charater bodies, make them recognizable ^^
3. Add in some detail that makes the character unique and whatever clothing they wear,
4. Most important part. I always spend the most time on this, making every line perfect and adjusting every little segment. Yup, imma perfectionist.
5. The most fun part, coloring it in!

I have a similar method, only my sketched stages --your 1 through 3-- aren't done in tablet, I draw them on paper.
I like to understand your processes though, it shows everyone just how it's done.
