Description
The perspective in this isn't perfect. Probably because I didn't even use a reference point. Oh well, I learned something along the way.I've sure been getting a lot of mileage out of the M16A1 base that I vectored a while back. Find that here

Clips hold ammunition for quick-loading purposes only, they don't have to be in the gun once they've been used to load the gun. To reload, you position the clip then push the ammunition out of the clip into the gun; the clip is then removed. Clips were actually developed for bolt-action rifles, long before semi-automatic firearms existed. An explanation: [link]
Magazines hold ammunition within the gun itself, and are required to be in place for the operation of the gun (with the caveat of the one cartridge actually in the chamber). When you reload the gun, you put in the whole magazine. What most people call "clips" are actually magazines.
