Wow, this is incredible. Let's see, where do I start? The way you portrayed the characters in this piece of art is amazing. They're tightly knit together in their little Gaang, yet each of them is reacting in a different way sympatico (real word?) to their personality. Only complaint I have is Sokka's expression. He looks a little more unsure of himself than he maybe should be. But perhaps that's just me (I am such a fan of Sokka ^_^). Hee.
I adore the way you colored this in. Everything looks so airbrushed, so realistic. Fantastic! Sometimes it's hard to tell that Sokka and Katara are related, but I think you really hit the nail on the head with this one. Mad props for your Water Tribe siblings! 
Oh, and uh, just a small question, out of curiosity: Do you ship Taang? Just wondering.

I think Sokka's not so much unsure as 'oooh shit.' just before he sets himself in 'fighting mode' lol. He's just momentarily taken back by whatever is attacking them. I love Sokka too! I would never make him be too scared! lol... oh yeah, maybe I would ...

O_o Wow, you're right; that is pretty confusing. No worries, though; it's cool to ship multiples (I know I do). I think I ship mostly canon - like Kataang. But see, it's weird: I like to chop them up into two groups - primary ships and secondardy ships. My primary ships are usually Kataang, Tokka, and/or Sukka. HOWEVER, I see what you're saying with Tokka. It would be completely awful if anything happened to Suki just so Sokka could be with Toph. But I mean, in all honesty, what are the chances she survived her prison stay? She's been there... under AZULA... for like, a season and a half. I'm not so sure if she's still alive (poor girl). 
Secondary ships are usually Zutara, Taang, and/or Sukka. I like these ships plenty, but I don't support them *quite* as much as the primary canon ships. The only two ships that transcend all categorizing are Jinko and Yuokka. Those are just too good NOT to do all the time!
ANYWAY! Sorry if I bored you. Just thought I'd let you know you're not the only one who ships confusing stuff. ^_^ Thanks for the reply, BTW.

There have been lots of rumors; I've heard anything from March last week to like, April 4th, which seems a lot more likely to me, but nothing's for sure. If I get anything concrete, I'll definitely let you know.
But chances are, you'll probably find out before I will.

Yes, the fan proboards "Flaming Knives" said April 4th is the projected airdate for "The Western Air Temple." Dongbu Feng.Net said the same thing in their podcast. Hope that date is right; I'm so looking forward to more Avatar!

Oh yeah, that was hilarious. I swear I haven't laughed so much since "The Desert"! I do feel guilty about watching it illegally, though... But still! The Aang/Zuko interaction was simply priceless.

Oh I don't feel guilty about watching them online; last I saw my local station that plays avatar was still repeating the first season (after only a few eps from the second). So if I didn't watch them online I'd never see them
