Dungeon pitch for... Mostly any fantasy RPG.

You and your party are summoned to the workshop of a powerful mage who needs your help. He tells you about a dangerous dungeon ruled by a powerful demon that is seeking to overthrow the city's leaders and take control of the city. This is exactly the sort of thing that you, as adventurers, are supposed to deal with, especially when the mage offers you equipment specifically designed to fight the demons that you will face. He then leads you to the entrance to the dungeon: an archway standing in the middle of the floor in his workshop.

Stepping through the archway will extend your physical presence into the realm that the demon has created on top of the city, while also leaving you still firmly entrenched in the normal, material realm. You are now able to see the demons and their handiwork: they are using spectral puppet-strings to gain control of select members of the population in order to guide things in their favour. You can also attack the demons and undo what they have done. Just be aware that no one else can see the demons, or what they are doing, and even without the demons pushing them in that direction, they may well try to stop you from being dangerously weird by swinging weapons and magic around in public.
