Whoo! I finished this on time!
Kiki officially joins the team and I finally introduced Nugget! Nugget is the baby of the team and he bumped into Briss on purpose, but that'll be explained in the extra. (Speaking of extra, I know I said I'd submit it right after this update, but I'm about to watch a movie with my brother and my parents are taking me out to eat tomorrow, so it might not be out til Tuesday.) Biting is his way of showing how much he likes someone. The harder he bites, the more he likes you. (I know, it's a weird way of showing love, but he's a baby, so it seemed like a good idea.)
As for Brendan, he did loose his team against Norman. He's obviously still depressed about it and hasn't completely recovered from it (then again, who would?). I'll explain why that happened in another "extra". At the moment, he's refusing to continue his journey and is currently helping his dad with his research to keep his mind off the death of his team.
I have a full team now and will do a Q&A, but that will be open AFTER I submit the extra for this comic. (Like I said, that might be Tuesday.)

Haha, yes, gotta love those! Nah, drawing the same thing in multiple panels gets a bit dull unless the person drawing them changed the angle or figures out a way to draw them differently each time. Idk. ^^

Kiki's terror-inducing skills sure are shaping up to be fun. That poor greeter sure looks undone there! And poor Briss, I think she's quite sore about having to fall on her front without anything to cushion it. And apparently, she's gotten herself a reputation now.
I was wondering if the Flannery fight would be a sweep battle like Wattson's was, and it seems as if Kip could have made that happen, but I like that it didn't turn out to be that. You sort of seemed to defy that by sidelining Kip. The effects for Amelia's magnitude is pretty darn cool, and I like all of the torkoal's "oh crap" looks. Its defiant glower as it gets a potion is pretty good too. It's funny, I pretty much was thinking, "cheater" the exact time Briss said it. Gotta love her response of "if you're going to be cheap, then I very darn well am going to be too!" It almost looked as if Briss was about to go right back to ignoring Kip, but she seems to be on the road to respecting him again with that offhand thank-you.
Oh dear, it seems karma caught up with Brenden's grovyle. Poor guy got a kong-pounding. I'm kind of liking how you're slowly changing his portrayal, with Briss's very awkwardly giving him sympathy. I guess you can develop your characters in a nicely slow pace, Briss still seems to be needing some work on her relationship with Kip, and they seemed to have an epiphany moment as well.
Nugget sure is cute. I totally saw that chomping coming up, by the looks of it, we've got a troublemaker here. Can't wait to read on!

Heheh, I'm planning on putting her skills to good use. As for Briss, well... she's been through worse, so she'll survive. XD
At this point in the game, I figured Amelia needed some extra training since Kip was actually the strongest one on the team. Thankfully the idea to grind at a GYM didn't backfire. 
And thanks again! Haha, karma's a jerk even in the pokemon world! And I'm glad you think so! I'm trying to slowly make him a more interesting character. C= And there'll be plenty of bonding between Briss and Kip in the pages to come. Poor guy deserves a little love after being rejected for a while.

From what I see, the gym leaders especially like to taunt you when you try to taunt them. I've noticed that when I try to defeat one of their pokΓ©mon with a humiliatingly weak move, they'll use items, but when I just go "screw this" and use a bigger move, they don't bother. Kind of sucks for me, 'cause I like cherry tapping.
It sure is a wonder that Amelia survived a gym level grinding, considering the apparent jinx on female pokΓ©mon in this team, but it is a good thing she survived. I kind of like numel.

I didn't really like Trapinces... until I took an arrow to the knee found out that it's last form is my fav dragon type!

Lol! We basically had the same reaction! I always thought they were cute, but wasn't sure how useful they'd be in battles... until I found out their final evolution was a Flygon.

Nugget was a random name. XD Before encountering him in the desert, I was going through the items in the bag and saw that I had a nugget, so I thought, "Hmm.. ok. I'll sell it to the pokemart after going to the desert." The trapinch appeared and "nugget" had been the last thing on my mind, so I just gave him that name.
