Entry for 's contest.thought it would be fun to enter Walton's contest together, so we decided to participate for fun.
Designing Briss' dress was fun. I took bits and pieces from different prom dresses I found on google images. At first I couldn't decide whether to give her a short or long dress, but then thought, "why not both?" so ended up drawing one that's short from the front and long from the back. I'm not sure if I did a good job on this or not, but the top of her dress with the floral pattern and part of the heels are supposed to be made out of see-through material (again, ideas I used from dresses/heels I saw). The corsage Briss is wearing was an idea Cam had. Since they're from the pokemon world, he thought it would be nice to use gracidea flowers for their matching corsages. And of course Briss would take Oom to the prom. (He's the only one that would behave.)
Briss' date for the prom is Oliver, Cam's nuzlocke protagonist from his nuzlocke "The Great Clash." (Go check out his nuzlocke/work if you haven't already! I highly recommend it and I'm sure you won't be disappointed!)

The gracidea flowers are a super sweet touch! Love everything about this one though ~ And that she's not afraid to show some leg O: I swear back at my prom in high school it was like... people were afraid to do so...?

Aww, thank you for the kind words! (Although the gracidea flowers weren't really my idea, so I can't take full credit for that ='D) Pffft, I figured she'd probably be a bit self-conscious, but went for it anyway. Ha, really?! Oh gosh, I don't remember much from my prom, but I do remember seeing a lot of girls wearing dresses that showed a lot of leg. ='D Idk, guess it just depends on the person?

Oh my gosh, gah! That's the cutest thing ever! Dang I think I'm having an adorable overload.Β Β Briss is just so adorably sweet in herΒ prom-wear! And I love the Gracidea idea! Briss is just so cute with her hair up. Also, looking good there, Oom! I guess he'd probably be the only one who'd appreciate it too. I somehow can't imagine Mighty reacting well to being put in a suit.Β
Briss's neck looks a bit short though. It might look better a tad longer, but still! This is just crushingly adorable. Also, thank you for making this and thus introducing me to Cam, his comic looks awesome!

Aww, thank you! I'm glad you think so! Yup, he'd be the only one who wouldn't complain. And you're right; Mighty probably wouldn't let her put him in a suit (she'd lose a few fingers if she tried).
Her neck? I don't draw necks in this style. ='D But looking at it now, it kind of does look like a neck.. And you're welcome! I'm glad I could introduce you to his comic! I hope you enjoy it!
