But Kip's is up! Not much to say, except that Briss has made him very insecure about his appearance. She already apologized and accepted him, but since it was recent, he's worried she'll do it again once he evolves (that explains why he freaked out in the last few panels). Also, I figured he'd know how to write because he lived with the professor for a while, so he probably picked up a few things here and there.
**Forgot to say: thanks to those who commented on the journal! As you can see, I decided to just skip the color for the rest of the QnA strips.

Kip's interview was really fun, with Kip's surprising Briss with his literacy, the lampshade hangings on Kip's not being Mr. T-ish anymore (even to the point of him asking what's a mohawk), Kip not knowing the mudkipz meme while Briss, who doesn't even know anything about pokΓ©mon did (kind of reminds me of that part in the Avengers where Thor didn't get a reference, but Captain America did), and then he gets all worried about being back to square one in the Briss liking him department (his face of sudden, worrying realization is hilarious and adorable).
Interesting hearing about what his life was like before knowing Briss. Was the treecko Birch owned the same one Brenden had that evolved into the grovyle that killed Zigzag? It would be funny if that question about the torchic was answered when Brenden shows up again and offers Briss some of his fried chicken wings.

Thank you! And AAAAHHHH! OMIGOSH!! YES! Someone caught it!! I DID try to make a reference to that Avengers scene but it was kind of hard to make it obvious (the only thing I thought of was drawing Kip in a Thor costume and Briss in a Captain America one, but that wouldn't have made sense. XD). I'm so glad someone caught it.
