Well I've been experimenting with various styles and mediums lately and now I've chosen animation. I think I have a pretty good idea for the real animation but I had to have some practice first. This is pretty sloppy but it accomplished what it needed to...I think it's funny how the design of Pikachu changes throughout the animation (I didn't spend enough time on the initial designing) but I think it has now been tweaked to the point of consistency. My only real concern is his little feet...they'll probably be real hard to animate when he walks...I should redesign him but I think there's too much kawaii going on their right now for me to do that. What I do like about this is the "redraw" effect; it gives motion to static drawings and looks great in my opinion.
