Amazing use of perspective, he looks enormous! I had to check the other pictures to get a reference for his size.

Ha thank you! I always try to take photos that make my papercrafts look life-size, but it wasn't very hard with this one!

He's around 3 ft tall, but he's ridiculously large if measured by volume ha

Excellent. He kind of looks, with the slightly faded colors, like those big outdoor display pieces seen in the US in the 40's and 50's on small businesses and such, like those big lumberjacks or the dinosaurs for Sinclair gas stations, or the Brown Derby restaurant.

Now that someone mentioned it - it does remind me of those (I haven't seen many but we still got some in Australia) and yes - some are horribly faded beyond belief, I often ask what does it take to get someone to re-paint it

Haha that would be so cool if a shop had a wooden version of this sitting outside!

Pretty huge... My tallest, or rather longest model is my X-wing, which is about 30 cm long and 30 cm wide. [link] But I'm also wondering how much paper did you spend on this Charizard, and where did you get templates for it.

Cool work, if I remember correctly, he was somewhere around 150 pages, and the template was my custom design

Thank you! I've always considered photography a very important step in creating papercrafts, like, to me, the photo is the art itself, not just a display of a model ya know?

I know what you mean. I've actually chided myself for taking crappy photos of my papercraft before.
