First of all... oh my gosh... it's been... forever since i've drawn both Roxas and Sora together in a picture like this. Wow...Their hair was a challenge all over again since it's been a while. Overall they were alot of fun to color and express.
This picture is for a special thank you to Llyxom !!! Thanks for the points~ You asked for Soroku brotherly love and here you are!

It's okay finding a style is a long forever changing journey! I know my style is still changing seemingly. xD
Yes!!! The transition is very strange because I love the roughness of a sketch, but it isn't the same feeling while on a tablet.
Those sketchy lines don't look the greatest with digital work. >A<;;
Sometimes I scan my sketches then go over it with digital lines. I think it's nice to transition to both though getting double the practice
I KNOW THAT FEEL! Most of the time when I wanna draw i'm busy with something, or it's when I'm driving or something. That's when the best ideas come out it seems! xD

I know right?! I recently drew on my bamboo and I noticed a bit of consistency with that drawing and the one previous. xD I think I'm getting there, slowly but still getting there.
I actually love the sketchy lines over flat ones. O: Iunno why but it makes it more authentic? Until you zoom in. xD
I used to scan my sketchbooks in before I got my art programs and tablet, but don't really do that unless I want to actually lineart and make layers for coloring.
Like today I want draw but I feel too lazy....

Right! It totally looks legit until you start coloring and see the sketchy lines that just make it look more sloppy rather than tasteful. x'D
I don't scan my pictures much anymore either unless I'm having a total struggle with anatomy which I need to traditionally sketch it out and gesture it.
I'll scan some of my traditional things just for the sake of having them on the computer because I give away my drawings sometimes
Aww that's okay, there are other days! I owe my friends art from prizes and art trades so I gotta draw those haha.

References are good sometimes. There's nothing wrong with using references since our minds aren't always accurate xD
Ahhh well I have a process ;; It takes HOURS just to come up with the lineart I like. I get really fussy with how it looks sometimes haha.
Plus I get totally distracted sometimes.

It takes hours for me too D: The recent headshot of a cheetah OC I did took about...3-5 hours? And I didn't do line art with it either. :l I did vector-like design, something different. xD

Sometimes I can wing it if I've drawn the character enough, but it never hurts to see a reference to double check haha.
Oh gosh. I can't even tell you how long it takes for me to finish a lineart. It takes me roughly two hours to color at least!
