That's because most teams that are homogenous are either government/organizationally sponsored, or evil.

Mismatched rag-tag bands are self-organized and motivated. What they lack in resources, they can generally make up for in flexiblity and skill.

The bat is Foxdale(Dale and Foxglove's son) and then left to right is Koral (Chip and Gadget's son), Korel (Chip and Gadget's daughter, older by 2 seconds and the leader), Weapons Master (new guy to the team) and MJ (Monterey Jack's nephew). But how did you mistake Korel for a fox? *boggle*
