Virtual pony companions in your console
These two are the ponification of your system. They are in charge of keeping your console in perfect condition.
Each console has it's own and they can be customized, this is how they appear when you first get them.
Remember, they are the ponification so if your game is lagging or glitching or messing up. So will they.
They don't have wings or horns because they are digital and can control your system.
XB0X 360
(I don't own an XB0X but whatever the system can do, she can do. Even with customization)

+Kinect If you have this attachment you can command her with your voice. You can give her a pat on the head and whatever.

If you got an early model she might have gotten the "Red ring of death" she will seem to be working perfectly,then suddenly she will slowly loose her competitive attitude and become emotionless as a husk. Soon after she stops moving at all. Then all her green parts turn red and yeah..
PlayStation 3
PS3's system color can be changed (the red areas) to the available colors.
When PS3 is turned off his power (on his chest) will glow red.
+PlayStation Move his eyes will follow your wand movement and you can pet him and such.
His tail is a representation of the original PS3 theme if you don't change it. So it flows about smoothly. (unless you turn it off)
His cutie mark logo can be changed to a single color and glow if desired. Also there is grey version for newer PS3s.

The console ponies only exist in your PS3 or 360 so they do not have a physical form and cannot leave since they are digital.
They float and listen to your commands as well as make sure the system is working. They aren't always on screen, like if you were playing a game. They can be seen if you (for PS3) press the home button he is there along with the other options.
Their mouth doesn't move when they talk, instead their voice comes straight from the tv speakers. The mouths do open and can show emotion however. I made the XBOX360 a female because when you look at the console itself it has a smooth shape with no hard edges. Then the name itself, 360 a smooth circle to me sounds perfect for a girl, smooth soft shape. The PS3 pony is male cause the console looks pretty manly to me, it also has straight hard lines on it, with corners and things. Both have a random looking sharp triangles popping out why? If you have noticed when you play games the main character and important things have a nice smooth look. Then other non important things are not so well off with hard edges and shapes crudely glued together. So I incorporated it in the design to show they aren't quite perfect.

The eyes can be changed to look appealing to whomever is playing. I made them look sharp and serious because these consoles have a competitive spirit, just look at em.
They have outfits you can download and customize with like from the PlayStation store (costs real money probably)
Then basic Christmas, Halloween, etc would be free.
Icons like for a PS3 could probably be worn as a 'mask', they would keep their square shape and just float in front of the face.
They could have custom names other than referring to them as XB0X or PS3
Unicorn horn and wings, etc can be added as a custom thing, but they do nothing to improve. Wings will have animations to flap and look like he or she is flying. Horn can glow or whatever.
