(2) It is Elden's wish to be an normal Earth pony, so he could live a normal life. In the second picture he's pretty shocked that his wings just disappeared like that.

(3) In The Skyrim Universe /which elden exists/ any adventuring pony may pick up spells now and then, even if not a mage pony. "Candlelight " Is a common light spell that follows you and lights your path.

(4) Elden already hates his useless wings, he doesn't want them and a horn. He also doesn't need ponies looking to him like he's better than the rest.

(5) Tried me best at old school ponies
