Description This is about the closest this wild coyote let me get to her. I was excited to get home and see the details in some of these images.

In particular, I like the detail shown in her eye, it seems to give away her intelligence.

As a species, coyote's have adapted to a wide variety of environments ranging from Panama and Mexico all the way north to Canada, and are generally considered to be one of the most intelligent predators in North America.

There are stories of coyotes creating diversions, luring prey into killing distance, or picnickers away from their lunches. They've also been known to scare rabbits into passing vehicles thereby avoiding a chase which may or may not prove fruitful.

Welcome! Well.. I don't know if you'll get a DD on that other one but kev read my note with the suggestion.. the Gallery Directors dont' usally answer..they just either give it one or dont.. so keep watchin that page!

I really like this; mostly for the same reasons you covered in your comments you really can sense her intelligence.
