Description
Commissary Ridge, Wyoming. This is one of my first HDR images. I've bracketed many of my shots knowing that someday I'd buy an a program that creates HDR images. Now that I have Photomatix I will be submitting some of my older images.
This one was taken in the fall of 2007.

Thanks, I think the post does help out a lot. I should be posting some more HDR in the future, for the a certain type of lighting, they're unbeatable!

Yes, I just got Photomatix a month ago and I'm convinced HDR is a very valuable tool. I spent years in the darkroom learning silver-masking etc. to control contrast and HDR makes it some much easier and simple. I look forward to seeing what you post. regards...

Thanks,
I tried using HDR with a wide variety of images, an it only worked well on a few of them, this was one of the best. It allows you to do things in your images that would be impossible without it.
