~stay a secret~

It was a late night for you and the whole n.e.s.t team as the whole desepticon situation had gone from full on to dead silent within a few hours, including all the fighting of course. You were currently in the back seat of Ironhides alt moad with your older cousin Lennox sitting in the front with Epps as your fellow team mates stayed behind to interrogate any of the desepticon that survived the attack. You wanted to stay as well but Lennox had deemed that you were 'too tired' to continue, and by deemed, it basically means that he dragged your sorry ass into Ironhides alt moad and the autobot didn't help you at all. "You alright back there?" Lennox asked even if it was dark you could practically feel his smerking face, oh how you wanted to slap it.

"You mean other than you dragging me for about two meters?"

"Do you have to make me the bad guy, I'm not the bad guy... Ok? Im just looking out for my cousin."

"You did drag her a few meters." Ironhide spoke through the radio.

"I agree with him man." Epps spoke up but quickly put his hands up in surrender after seeing Lennox's face.

"And then why didn't you help me hide?" You ask looking out the window.

"What do you think about prime?" If you had a drink you'd be chocking right now.

"W-What the hell Epps?" You stutter moving forward so you were between the two seats.

"I'm just curious." He muttered looking everywhere but at you as an uncomfortable silence fell to over the cab as you leaned back in your seat and you were thankful for the dark streets so they couldn't see your blush. Even if you had a thing for the autobot leader, you'd didn't act on it because you wanted to keep the great friendship you had with said bot. Your thoughts were interrupted when you heard Hide chuckle.

"And what's so funny?" Lennox asked looking towards the radio.

"(Y/n) heart rate increased after Optimus was mentioned."

You really felt like jumping out of the cab at that moment, now they had another thing to tease you with.

"Did it now?"

"What do you think captain, does a certain rookie have a crush on the big bad bot?"

Screw this, you'll raid their rooms and stuff their beds with rocks and poor shaving cream on their pillows, but first you'd slap their smerking faces.

"Buy the way she's acting I'd say so." Lennox replies as Ironhide pulles into the base.

"Say anything and you'll regret it." You growl death staring them not monents later said bot rolled in.

"Hey Optimus!" Epps called as he transformed along with Ironhide. "Get anything from that scrap heap?"

"No, the others stayed behind to repair any damages." He replied blankly as he lent against one of the support beams.

"You know, Optimus... We had an intre-" Epps didn't finish his sentence as you started dragging him and your cousin away by the ears from the now confused autobot who sent a questioning glance at Ironhide.

"Owowowowo! (Y/n)!" That followed several rounds of cursing.

"Listen here you two, if i find out eather of you two tell him i will personally make sure your life becomes a living hell." You threaten giving their ears one hard tug before letting them go.

"What about Ironhide? Arn't you worried that he'll tell Optimus." Lennox smerked while rubbing his sore ear.

"You should worry about yourselves at this rate." You growl before heading to your room for the night. Ironhide wouldn't turn you in because you'd covered for him while he snuck out quite a few times. You just hoped that Optimus didn't find out about your crush on him.

And it stayed that way, untill a certain yellow and black scout had found out about your secret. Lennox and Epps haven't had a good nights sleep in two months and counting.
