Okay, anyone else picked up that the title for this was a Mercy quote? Anyone? Okay, moving on.
I know less than a year is hardly a 'pop the champagne' improvement period, but I'll take the victories where I can get them. And as the description in my 'After' drawing might suggest, I'm really excited to be working with Bristol Board now for future drawings
Eventually I'll update this description with a quick list of what I did differently and where I felt I improved on. But don't let that keep you from adding your own thoughts. It's the only way a smuck like me will learn

I owe much of the Improvement to the Bristol Board paper I drew it on; it's so much better for blending and I haven't suffered much (if not any) 'bleeding' issues.
Let's hope I can keep that improvement going for my next drawings.
