Description
1 of 2 char designs for a concept that I'm currently mulling over and might be recycling into an old dead idea to bring the two up to speed together. For now it just a nice char design study! Her name is Bordeaux and she's French-Indian (citizen-heritage). She's also a witch!
Fun fact: I'm in love with drawing her nose.

another interesting witch character, this one is alot less charming in personality(compared to the more gentle rudolfette), but she has an interesting vibe of badassery, combined with some elevated confidence and a tendency for mischief...
she has a cute face, and a cool nose (interesting nose!), while her eyes pupils are thin and vertical(like a cat's), and because of that (and because of her nose), she kinda reminds me of a shark...
man, her spirit animal/transformation animal form should be a shark, that would be quite awesome...
anyways, nice drawing of this character, i like her face, i like her outfit/her wild face expressions, and the cool story behind this.
you should do this in a comic, i would love to read such a tale!
(with more witch-girls, and various magical adventures along the way...)
good work!

French-Indian, that's not too hard to guess, haha.
I love this character's design; she looks very mischievous. I can also see why you enjoy drawing the nose.

The shark-ish nose looks familiar, but I'm guessing that it's just artistic embellishment in this case.Β Am I right?

That is an epic nose she's got there. Definitely makes me think of a shark finned nose, ya know?

ahhah XD I wonder if the name Bordeaux is subconsciously linked with large noses... X'D because long ago I was trying to come up with a character for the steampunk style story I was working on...His name was going to be Bordeaux and he was going to have a very large nose... those were the only two characteristics I had for him... but I never quite got him right and the people I drew ended up just being other characters... so I ended up with a bunch of people with very large noses... ahhaha like these guys... e1l0n3wy.deviantart.com/art/Ro⦠e1l0n3wy.deviantart.com/art/Mu⦠X'D ahhaha actually ... I even mentioned that phenomenon on Murdoc's page in the artist comment...
hahah
Oh weirdness...
As for this Gal, She is so very interesting >w< I love unique noses

You've always had a great way with patterns and markmaking textures in your work, but it's really been developing strongly this year. Heck, your entire visual style has just gotten really cohesive as a whole.
Really expressive stuff man. : | Keep it up. It's always rad seeing your work.
