Dover is truly an enigma.
To be specific, they’re an inter-dimensional being discovered by genius scientist Dr. Dorothy Lancaster (art forthcoming) back in the 70’s when she was experimenting with space-time vectors and quantum field theory. If one were to take a hair sample, they are nothing close to an actual rabbit, nor anything else modern science or biology can identify. It’s simply a form they inhabit in our dimension for us to perceive.
Why they take this one, no one really knows (not even them).
Dover has a heavy obsession with order and rules and serves loyally as Dr. Lancaster’s secretary, aide, planner, security, and bodyguard all rolled into one. Their true gender/sexuality lies far outside the human scope, so the closest thing they identify with is gender-fluid (call them whatever pronoun you like, it doesn’t matter to them) and pansexual. But work comes first!
Yes, they always have that same creepy/cute grin on their face. It makes them incredibly hard to read. Which is just how they like it.

When I read they I assumed Dover was more than one entity. After reading the rest of the artist comments, I'm not sure what to think!

They're a single entity. I simply say "they" because they're pretty gender-fluid and don't subscribe to one or the other.

The monotone expression and the continued use of the third person makes me think of Kyubey. Not that that's a bad thing, not a bad thing at all.
Really, I love the design. The military garb is VERY snappy and gives them more personality (also, the whole 'Oh My' thing has me reading all his lines in Takei's voice).

It is a word used in a specific disorder yes, so that is true. And while the stigma and social perceptions of mental illnesses is not good at all I was just talking about the sexist and misogynistic undercurrents that benefit from the concept of rape used in a joking manner was all. So narcissism as a word has a safe usage outside of the disorder's name, while rape is pretty straightforward in ANY context to what it's referring to.

Yeah, this is why i speak German to only my friends because when i do (since it is a gruff language) people think i'm talking about them and what not. It really makes me mad because i was sent to the office 4 times this year because i was speaking German *facepalms*
