AND NOW for a much more RECENT picture of a couple of characters from my “Danny Gomez Does drugs on the Weekends” pictures I posted a week or so ago, when I initially laid out the main characters and their respective hallucinations.
I had one spare piece of bristol board and chose to do the first color picture of Patricia and Sweetwater since their relationship as creator and creation is so amusing to me.
The ones I posted were just laying around and pretty old style and design wise. This one almost served as a more recent "update" and tweaking of Sweetwater's overall look when I had a much better idea of what direction to go in.
Yes Sweetwater’s stomach is a ball pit. Yes it’s safe/sanitary (unlike the ones in real life).

Really like the design of the hallucinations. (she's a dragon right? She looks like one) it's very colorful and vibrant and definitely looks very fitting for a hallucination.

Oooh update on my fav pair!
I really dig the redesign of Sweetwater now that I can compare it to the old 2013 design. This definitely seemed more realized and tightened up. Glad you got rid of the shaggy hair and utilized her Piñata cones. Sweetwater looks more lovable and whimsical. Definitely my fav among the hallucination crew.

Technically she doesn't require food. But she still has a sweet tooth. Any food she eats just kinda dissapears past her throat, since the hallucinations in the story are kinda strange almost magical reality-warping entities just brought to life in the real world they don't really follow most rules of physics or the like.

I dunno, probably 10-20 people airing from comfortably to cramped hahaha. But nah she wouldn't grow TOO much in size, she'd just get a bit over-filled probably.

Hey just a thought what would happen if all the balls were removed from Sweetwater's belly would she shrink or deflate or something else entirely?

Considering the fact that she's a magical sort of reality-warping being and not all of her physiology follows the rules of physics, I think if you tried to "empty" her out her body would just infiniatly created more balls in their place, you'd never be able to completely make her devoid of those balls, you'd never make progress on it haha.
