I gotta say that this kid is taking it pretty well that a giant dragon lady is right in the middle of his kitchen

The only good time when the monster under your bed is real. To fight off other monsters like this kid.

I detect a tone of sass and snark in Matilda's voice. Interesting how it appears her stance to the kids has changed from something like "those kids who live down the street that annoy me, but not enough to hate them" to "MY kids who live with me and annoy me, but are still my kids."
Reminds me of the Jerk With a Heart of Gold trope on TvTropes

Its kinda like Narnia. Monsters can just kinda keep going and access this weird pocket dimension through the closets.

Title and everything? I mean the whole notion of kids and monsters in closets isn't anything new. I mean that was pretty much that whole Pixar movie "Monsters Inc." And that was in the 2000's.
This is just my spin of it.

well there is a story book about a (step)mother who was a moster and her human (step)son coping with her image. he was embarrassed to have friends over and resented her but in the end of the story he comes around.

I've always liked female names that end with an "a". Really? I didn't know it was a name that was considered; 'old fashioned'

Well, I mean, the only time I've seen a person named Matilda was really in Rald Dahl's book. (but it's a pretty name, nonetheless)

...is his closet REALLY that big??? Is there some sort of "pocket dimension" where she keeps a living area in his closet? XD Either way, I can't wait to see more.
