So yeah, I normally don't do colored works but this one actually made it out ok. This started out as a sketch actually and completely evolved into a viable work. I wanted to give her this initial "appeal" but at the same time instill an uneasy feeling.
At first she started out as one of those Sphinxes that guards city's and asks riddles and what-not, but I chucked that idea. So now she's more of a chimera human/beast hybrid that just wanders 'round the local forest and eats folks, judging by the poem, most active in fall.
She sleeps it off in the winter and spring and wakes up mid-summer.
She's not just a throw away character and I want to use her for something, but only when I figure out what. Heck she doesn't even have a name yet. Anyway, enjoy!

Cause I get results like this but only after putzing around for like a hour or two trying to figure out how to get to the end result I achieved last time by well....putzing around.

Also the colouring is awesome i love the almost like hatching you did with some of the colours it really makes it interesting.

Im imagining a scene where she's poking her head out of the brush when someone approaches, the adventurer saying "Hey your kinda cute-" Only to see her full form as she comes out of the brush completely "-...crap"

Why not use her n Step- Monster or mabye just in a story of your self bieng a explorer,then you decide to take a challenge and enter though a forest to see what strange mystery awaits.
