Glad you like it, I was partially inspired by Venonat and Weedle for that one.

You could do type variations of Charmander.
Set 1:
Water Charmander could be based on a tadpole just growing its limbs, Grass Charmander could be based on a baby T-Rex, as well as ferns, Electric Charmander could be based on a frill lizard, as well as a light bulb, Psychic Charmander could be based on a psychedelic frog variation, as well as a crystal orb, Ice Charmander could be differently colored, with an ice crystal instead of a flame, Dragon Charmander could be differently colored, with nothing on his tail, Dark Charmander could be differently colored, with a bandit mask and no tail flame, and then there'd be Ground Charmander, based on an earthworm.
Set 2:
You decide these.

I couldn't figure out how to make a Normal type Diglett, since nothing really defines the normal type.

Well, you could try with sort of fluffy things as if it were a plush

I imagine that them being like Boos from Mario, sneaking behind you but disappearing if you turn around.

If they sneak up behind me, I'm going to freak out.
I HATE when I get surprised from behind.
