My main problem with Klinklang's canon design is that it barely changes when it evolves from Klang; the only difference is the addition of a small red gear and a spiked ring. It looks more like Klang is just holding a stat-boosting item rather than an actual evolution. This is especially disappointing since the entire purpose of gears is to connect into each other to make bigger, more complex machines. Another minor issue I had was that the face on Klinklang's larger gear is barely visible.
How I changed it
I wanted to make Klinklang into a more complex machine while still keeping the gear theme strong in its design. What I mainly did here was expand the gear/ring combo into a tower of gears. The gears would all rotate and generate vast amounts of electricity that can be shot out the spikes on its rings, sort of like a tesla coil tower made of gears. I also changed eye on the larger gear to make it more expressive.

You did a good job.
IMO what I liked about the Magnezone line is that Magnezone actually looks like a good upgrade to the line without looking too 'samey'
Shame Klingklang didn't carry it over.

Thanks, I really wanted to make it look different from its previous stage.
It's a shame how the canon Klinklang ended up so disappointing. GameFreak definitely should have done more with it. I saw an anime episode where it become part of a helicopter; having an evolution based on that would have been cool.
