"How... how's this even possible?!"

"Timelord technology," the strange man replied, still smugly grinning as he strolled towards the central control console.

"Timelord? Like... Time Baby?" the boy blinked in response, eyes wide.

"Well... kinda, I suppose," the man shrugged. "Although I would prefer the more dignified answer..."

"Wow..." Dipper looked around in quiet awe. "...are you from the future?"

"Could say that. Or, you could say past, present, and future, Dipper!" The other gestured dramatically as he moved towards a lever.

"Wait, what...?" The younger one's eyes widened. "You... this is a time machine?!"

"Right on! Anytime and anywhere - this beauty will get you there!" The timelord casually leaned on a buttonless area of the panel, looking at Dipper with a satisified smile. It always cheered him up to see new, budding minds witness the depths of the TARDIS for the first time.

"It's MUCH more complicated than Blendin' Blandin's time tape..." Dipper commented with a wry grin.

"MUCH more!"

"So... if you've got this... does that mean you're a timelord?"

The older one grinned widely and nodded.

"They call me the Doctor."

He put his hands in his pockets.

"...Dipper Pines, welcome to the TARDIS."
