Description This is first of probably many pieces where i color my line art.  For the longest time i felt like less of an artist because I didn't render everything out ala Donato Giancolo.  I've since realized I love line work and I'm happiest when coloring it.  Not everything will be linework but it feels good to do what i love

Totally feel on you on your statement.  I, like you I'm sure grew up loving the line work of comics and I was most happiest drawing like that.  I think I may get back to more linework and less render crazy stuff.  BTW great work, very inspirational

It's my son.  He hates it's there, but I think it's hilarious.  Oh and thanks for the compliment.

I second that. Feels great when you become confident about your own work/style.

I recently had the same epiphany. I still oscillate between rendering the shit out of stuff and and ink lines with color but I increasingly love the linear more and more.
