Description I had a few requests for a drawing tutorial for Lackadaisy so I figured, hey! Let's draw some stupid, whynot?
Originally, it had a painting tutorial included, but it was getting to be too long, so I truncated it. That part might make it onto lackadaisycats.com when I hoist up there, though.

Excellent tutorial indeed. I've been needing a nice giggle today and your tutorial provided that. Thank you. Not to mention, it provided a nice amount of information. Now, I wish to see Rocky destroying a whole city block with a grilled cheese sandwich. Actually it looks like he's chasing someone down with anger for perhaps a poorly grilled, grilled cheese sandwhich?

lol xD nice tutorial! Funny and to the point. I think this will help out a few people. Especially the little bit on foreshortening can help me out.

I'll try those steps out myself. And work on the shading. That needs help in and of itself.

HAH. xD
YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW LONG I WAS WAITING FOR YOU TO DO SOMETHING LIKE THIS. I always wondered how you produced such brilliant artwork. ;o;
I also managed a good chuckle out of it. I think a sandwich is more effective than a gun for killing, actually. -wtf-

Apparently you've never heard of the great grilled cheese massacare of 1932. it was terrible, and they never found the culprit...

An outstanding tutrial. I applaud and giggle with glee.

I'll have to make my own tutorial for that.

I have such admiration for people who break their penciling down into stages as such. For me it's just... PASTA! DONE! Fail.

But anyway. Lovely tutorial, rich with both information and cleverness. (Aww. Poor tater.)

LOL, Oh I love your drawings! This will definatly be worth trying out, since you get your drawings so perfect all the time. How do you get them looking the same character each time?! Is it just loads and loads of practice or do you have a cunning trick?

Hilarious. Your technique is indeed similar to my own, though I've gone many years using detached puppy heads to get proper perspectives. This "shapes" thing is new to me. I learned something today.

Hahahahah! I loved that tutorial, great to see the sense of humour, it's something that doesn't tend to show in this kind of things. The expressions are great, too, if you plan on making any more of these, I suggest one on expressions, good tutorials on that are hard to find.

If nothing else, it was quite entertaining. Especially the end. But aside from that, this is quite a good tutorial. I'm hoping it will help me with, like, perspective/foreshortening. That would be excellent. Nice work.
