Description
A little sketch I did to try out a new technique I've discovered which makes things more 'natural'. It started off simply as the loco, but I saw an oppourtunity for a scene, so went for it.Related content

The engine looks a little bored with his work.. or maybe it's just been a long day?
Interesting looking loco, I like the colliery equipment in the background too. Pretty nice.

To be fair, if you worked at a colliery all day everyday, wouldn't you get a little bored?

True. Very true.
The only exception I could think of is if it was set in Season 5 of 'Thomas'. Couldn't set wheel in a quarry without something going horribly wrong.

If I'm honest, it looks like one of the old 0-6-2 locomotives of old, but I can't remember exactly the class. Furness Railway I think it is...

It's not an 0-6-2 and has nothing to do with Furness I should think, this was a NCB era loco, Barry is correct, I have looked myself, it is a Hudswell Clarke 0-6-0

Nice, Lewis, looks fantastic. What kind of loco is it? I'm no good with classifications.

I'm not entirely sure to be honest, i was searching for Hawthorn shunters, but it being Google not everything was, this was simply a loco that interested me, and the picture was a decent size
