Please read the description, before commenting. Thank you.Now with Season 7 out and done, it's time to see what has changed from the previous version. This won't have the MLP movie as I haven't seen it yet, so please don't ask me 'Where's the MLP movie characters'. Like the last one, all choices are based on the show itself, with no outside sources like the comic series.
Favorite Character: Starlight Glimmer
So... this is going to get me a lot of comments, but yet. Starlight has moved up to this position and I don't regret it. Throughout this season, there were times where I was watching her episodes and we said the same thing (strange, isn't it). While I didn't like at first, she did slowly grow onto me and this season just nailed it. It also helps that she went through some issues that even I had felt, at one point in my life. The picture used here is from the episode that got her onto this spot: A Royal Problem.
Starlight: Oh, and it's not because of that one certain scene from 'Uncommon Bond'. *smirks*
Me: Hush you.
Honorable Mentions: Rarity (2nd favorite), Princess Luna, Zecora, etc.
Previous Favorite Character: AJ aka Applejack
Despised Character: Rainbow's Parents
Oh dear Faust, did these two really annoyed the buck out of me. I can understand that you treasure your little girl, but there's a fine line before it gets... too icky. *shudders* I can see why miss Dash didn't informed them of her new position as a wonderbolt.
Dishonorable Mentions: Pinkie Pie, Hooffields AND McColts, Twilight Sparkle (Hooffields and McColts episode/Season 6 only), Svengallop, Spoiled Milk (aka Flithy Rich's wife), Garble, etc.
Previous Despised Character: Flim & Flam
Favorite Season: Season 4 or Season 7
Both of those seasons really had some great continity and storylines that connected to the season finale.
Despised Season: Season 3 or Season 6
Now, you might be wondering why I put Season 3 on here... No, it's not because of Princess Twilight. It's just the fact that it was too short and didn't feel like a full season. I mean, there were some great episodes, but it has the RWBY Volume 4 problem: Too much stuff, little episodes to explore them. As for Season 6, same reason as the previous version.
Most Overrated Character: ...
I'll be frank here, it's not easy to pick this one, unlike the previous ones. While I could have put Trixie here and call it a day, it would be hollow of me to do that. Plus, we have a lot of characters that we think is overrated and people will argue to no end on why that character isn't overrated as you first thought. So, I'll leave this one blank.
Previous Most Overrated Character: Maud Pie
Most Underrated Character: Lightning Dust
Yeah, no changes from the previous one. The reason is the still the same, plus... this season brought back some characters and yet, this one was forgotten about. Maybe Season 8 would do something with her, as I feel that you could do a story arc with her, trying to get back at RD for the events of 'Wonderbolt Academy'.
Honorable Mentions: Coco Pommel (or Miss Pommel as the series is going with now), Flash Sentry, Scootaloo, etc.
Favorite Villian: Lord Tirek
Nothing new here, moving on.
Somewhat Despised Villian: Starlight Glimmer/King Sombra
These two share this spot for a good reason, as both of them have the same problem. They really didn't get enough screentime/motivation to show off their skills as villian, compared to Discord or the Queen of the Changlings (that I can't remember her name, as of right now). I mean, Sombra barely showed up in his season two-parter to only grumble some stuff and get blown up (with a piece of his horn surviving the blast: which hasn't been seen since). Sombra really was a wasted villain, with a cool design, but wasted none the less. While Starlight had the screentime like Discord did, she didn't really followed up with her revenge plan UNTIL the season finale, instead of slowly weaking Twilight down.
Favorite Song: Flawless
What can I say about this song that others have said. I really enjoyed this song, even if it was somewhat pointless in the episode that was first shown in.
Honorable Mentions: The Magic Inside, all of A Hearth's Warming Tail, It's Gonna Work, etc.

Despised Song: The rappin' Hist'ry of the Wonderbolts

Favorite Episode: The Perfect Pear
This is by far the best episode that I have watched yet. I mean, we finally got the backstory to AJ's parents and it was done in a 'Romeo and Juliet' style, which gets bonus points with me, as I did read that story in High school. Well done to the writers of this episode.
Honorable Mentions: Bridle Gossip, Hearth's Warming Eve/Read It and Weep (The episode that got me into the show), Magical Mystery Cure, Simple Ways, The Mane Attraction, A Hearth's Warming Tail, etc.
Previous Favorite Episode: Rarity Investigates!
Despised Episode: The Carts Before the Ponies/Every Little Thing She Does
Going to change this one, to show other episodes that I despised (Other than my all-time despised). Starting this off is 'The Carts Before the Ponies' aka 'The Predictable Plot Before the Credits', this was a borefest for me. I mean, I like the concept for the CMC spending time with their sisters, but they were stuck on 'we build what we want instead of what they want' mode and predictability was written on the wall. So yeah, not one of my favorites. As for 'Every Little Thing She Does', this felt too forced for Starlight's charcter, as she was trying to not be using 'mind control' anymore and reform.
Β Dishonored Mentions: Any Spike focused episodes (minus S6), Over a Barrel, Too Many Pinkie Pies, All Twilight focused episodes (S6 only), etc.

So Michael.... seeing as Princess Luna is your favorite MLP Princess....... Which Design of Princess Luna do you like the most: S1 Luna or S2 onwards Luna?
For me though, well..... I used to like Princess Luna's S2 onwards Design, but nowadays I have been showing affection for Princess Luna's S1 Design. Reason why is, well, it just has a unique Design to it.

Well, it's not that I don't judge MLP FansΒ who love Princess Luna's current design because they easily recognize her...... It's just that I'm trying to find that I'm not the only one who loves Princess Luna's S1 Design a whole lot more than her S2 onwards design. I mean, well, I can't be the only one.... right?

I don't know why the writers killed off Sombra the instant he arrived. I mean, you would expect a huge climatic battle to happen between him, the Mane Six, Shiny and Cadence. But NO...they just had to put him out of his misery once he took physical form, *snap* just like that!
I mean, seriously! We never even got to see what his true abilities were, besides erasing people's memories and showing them horrifying futures that may actually happen in their lifetime. And speaking of time, they never gave him a backstory! Like, who is he? Where did he come from? How did he conquer the Crystal Empire? WHY did he want to conquer the Crystal Empire? Do we get any answers? HECK NO! π‘
Seriously, I can rant and rave about this as long as I can, but that's all I'm gonna get out for now.

i can see what they were doing with sombra, they wanted him to be a shadow a looming threat but they didnt do it too well. I like everything in this show

Starlight Glimmer is too bland for me, plus she seems to always upstage the other characters instead of feel like a new member of the group.
I don't dislike Starlight but she doesn't feel like a good character. Don't get me wrong, she has potential to be so but they never really do it too much. Even going so far as to make other characters look bad in order to make her look good, and that makes her feel like a parasite.

In A Royal Problem Starlight wasn't needed anymore than Applejack or Rarity were. It could've been an episode dwelling in Celestia and Luna's relationship but instead it was focused on Starlight and made Celestia and Luna act as if they hate each other.

THANK YOU! RD's parents should've gone to prison for breaking into a military base and even assault. Those two are why poor Rainbow Dash is so messed up.
