Description
My rendition of Little River Railroad no. 126, later to be named Skookum. This 1905 mallet was the smallest of its kind when built, but even it was too heavy for the Little River Ry.'s rail. It was shipped back to Baldwin and replaced with a smaller mallet, no. 148.Related content

Little River Railroad that's the one that ran thru the tunnel at the entrance to Cades Cove part of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in Tennessee and it and another L.R.RR the Linville River Railroad are two of my favorite railroads
