Took a stab for the first time using blender to render the starship i designed way back when, the USS Legacy. (the ship for this group >Β www.deviantart.com/tot-legacyΒ )This is actually a redesign of that design, So it's kinda the Legacy-A
Hopefully i can make a much better version as i get the hang of Blender more XD

Was it hard to use Blender? Have you used any other 3D modeling programs? If so, how does it compare? (Sorry for the 3rd degree π
).

I think most of the hardness is just remembering all the hot keys and shortcuts ='D I've never used Blender or any 3D programs before this, i followed a "make a low poly car" tutorial to make a car, then i made this after trying to remember what i had learned ='D
If i stick to it i might end up doing an Enterprise at some point, but so many other people have made so many variants already it doesn't feel like i could offer anything new lol

You shouldnβt look at it as being able to offer anything new. Whatever you make is yours. Art is about you, not others. Look at it more as skill development. What you CAN do rather than what you canβt. ^_^

Well i'd like to work on my ships more, although it might be worth practicing on ships that aren't mine so i'm not repeating making the Legacy over and over lol
