Anyhoo, I honestly think Nintendo should have a future Zelda game have the option of playing a Male or Female Link. It seems like it would fit with the stated intent with the character of Link that the character is meant to be a 'link' for the player into the game world, it's the reason he never speaks afterall. It kind of sucks that for a series with a LOT of female fans as well as male fans that female gamers don't have the option of a female Link to serve as their avatar in Hyrule (of course there's plenty of male fans who would choose to play a female link and many ladies who would play male Link still) There's also many other games which have a specific character whom you can have be male or female too. I think this would work especially well if the female Link was similar to many of your designs - not over sexualized, just looking like a female version of Link!

A choice to customize your Link like that feels like something that makes sense for the Zelda franchise - at least in the games where Link is meant to be a blank slate that the gamer can project themselves. Plus, in my own headcanon, I think that each Legendary Hero is just a random person who is just brave enough to rise up and take on the challenge, and custom Links could help bridge that connection between player and character. It's something I think could work, yeah!
