"Maybe he's that rare animal — the one real man every woman meet once in her lifetime..."Rorschach in Gotham has returned! You thought I forgot? Of course not, because you, the fans, demand this from me! (My mind boggles that I even have fans, too!) I've been very busy with school, but I have several other drawings still in the works and I'll upload them here when they're ready, so look out for those in the near future.
This is a Happy Lunar New Year and a Happy Valentine's Day (to both the singles and couples) this weekend. It was one of my first doodles for Rorschach in Gotham, cleaned it up with ink, stuck it in a sketch-book, forgot about it, discovered it again, came to hate it, shoved it in a different sketch-book, found it again, this time worse for wear, and wasn't as bad as I thought it was. Therefore, I coloured it and did a stupid background — for the people who complained about my lack of backgrounds in my last RiG artpiece. I'm a character animator, not a background artist! I can't do backgrounds to save my life, so I hope you're satisfied with this half-ass job. The dialogue is just an excerpt from a RiG episode in the works, discussing Rorschach's obsession with his journal. (This piece is dedicated to my good WatchFriends, *chattenoir889 and ~BerlinsGoneWhere ! Many huggles and snuggles to you!) Enjoy!

I have Rorschach mask that moves ink when I breath like when I enhale it turns white when I exhale it turns black

I've been wanting to try that. Sometimes when the convention is so hot, the ink doesn't move to well.

Don't be shy. Never be shy. Opening your art is like opening your soul to be seen. It's personal, yes, but in the end, it's worth it.

Same, but if I always compared myself to other people's art, I wouldn't go anywhere. You evolve your own style, not other people's styles. You are you. You improve yourself.

My only style is Ink/Abstract. For some reason I can draw with pencil. But I can look at a picture and copy it to the dot.

Never copy. Copying someone else's art doesn't make it YOUR art. Learn what you need from it and move on.

I know. I mean like in for example, I can look in my "How to draw the human head" guide. and all the steps it shows. I don't have to follow them. I can just look and draw it.

I think there's your problem then. Those instructions do have a lot of tips and guidelines that should be taken to heart, but it's up to you to do so. Here's the thing. If you asked for opinions, don't take them personally. As artists, we want the best for other artists. We want you to approve. If we see something and show you how to approve, take that to heart and learn from it. Art is an ever-learning process. Talent always approves and gets better.
