That's pretty much how it happened. I decided to watch one episode... thats all it took.

I never thought that a guy of 20 years, who listen death metal, watches and reads horror all the time like me could ever like this show. But, 3 weeks ago, maybe for boring or maybe for cleverness, i watched the pilot episodes of FiM. And then an entire new world opened through my eyes, and in that moment I became a brony! This show is the new millenium drug, better then facebook or anything else. Because I want to make the world that I'm a brony and I'm proud of it!

Β -doesn't focus on selling products (though new ones are made)
Β -hired artists for writers instead of corporate fat cats trying too hard
Β -used an amazing blend of 2d and 3d for smooth animation
Β -brings nostalgia of the old cartoons before they where made artificial and unoriginal
Β -so darn cute :3
Β -is easy to find and watch
Β -family friendly so the whole family can enjoy

You seem to have put some thought into that list. Why can't I stop? It's because I love it and think it's great.
Also, it has become very hard to draw with eyes that have melted away, I should think twice before entering a mind other than my own again.

well im a very good amature critic. my firend, bleedman, loves my opinions on his art and ideas and he helped inspire me to keep drawing while in high school when i was down (yes, i know bleedman. he's always a busy guy). We go great together being slightly different leos and help each other alot with drawing challenges and such. but i digress
I can detail and citique many thing well and love to help others out...I also miss the old CN, btw.

Ah yes, Bleedman. I read his comics back in high school because I was unhappy with Cartoon Network's direction and he managed to hit my nostalgia button. He's been off my radar for a long time though.
I still miss the old CN, but recently I've been happy with the shows they have been putting out.
