I actually came up with this new sophont a few hours ago... To pronounce their name correctly, click your tongue on the roof of your mouth twice rapidly--but not too rapidly (their very sensitive about stuff like that). The other half of pronouncing their name is impossible for humans. They communicate through rapid clicks with sound, but also through heming. Heming is a sense which percieves light and color as sound. The dk'dk can communicate through heming by rapidly changing the color and pattern of their "eye". The eye itself is shaped like a hollow cylinder, and the hose-like mouth can slide out to feed and manipulate objects. They are herbivoreous, for the most part. Obviously these beings evolved on a very low-gravity world... They are a herd-mentality race. They do virtually everything together, privacy is unheard-of. Those who want to be alone are viewed as insane. They are extereamely cowardly...
