It is unsurprising then that Black Cat is a high-ranking member of the Kodiak's InOps (Intelligence Operations) contingent, tasked with gathering intelligence on a target planet and any indigenous species inhabiting it. This has brought her into contact with humanity to a far greater extent than other Tiberians, and she is often used as a liaison between the two species.
