Trion should not be able to be one of the 13. He's already been seen to have multiple versions in the multiverse which would elliminate him from the list of potentials.

Wrong. He has always been well established as being among the very first Transformers, and he's also been firmly established as existing in every continuity as the same being, and as Primus' chosen guardian for Cybertron and Vector Sigma.

sorry dude but you're way out there. As mentioned by another poster OTFCC has already canonised multiple Trions including an evil version from the shatteredverse.

You're right. At the beginning, I tought that G1 Alpha Trion and Unicron Trilogy Alpha Trion could be one and the same, but now, the presence of the lunatic Alpha Trion from the OTFCC comic disregards that.
Besides, if that is an ancient battle shown, shouldn't Alpha Trion be in his original A3 form?

One thing I'm really curious about is the identity of the female of the group silhouetted in panel two. I've suspected that Beta is one of their number because of her connection to Alpha Trion, being about the same age as he, and his equal.

This was perfectly epic and yet not overblown. I can only hope that the upcoming "Thirteen" comics match the vibe of this Mosaic.

I like how this story can take place at the begining of any TF series without feeling out of place, and how it is also definitely meant to be connected to the Marvel run. That and the art is grogeous make this an easy favourite for me.

OF course. Alpha Trion has been pretty well established as being among the very first Transformers ever. In The Key to Vector Sigma Part 2 he specifically states, "I am a First Generation Product of Vector Sigma". His MtMtE bio states that he is believed to be one of the very first Transformers, and the Ultimate Guide also states that Primus kept vigil over Cybertron, "through its guardian, Alpha Trion". Alpha Trion was guardian of Cybertron and Vector Sigma. In Universe and the Fun Publications Cybertron comics, as well as DW's Energon comics, Alpha Trion was also Pimus' intercessor with the Transformers. So yeah, he's, without question, one of the first.
