Its certainly an interesting take on things, though I prefer the current IDW plot arc of the tech being rediscovered and then applied to new teams.

This is so well done, the plot and the art both, that it makes me wish this was considered cannon, by IDW. The artwork and the inking are certainly exquisitely detailed enough to qualify as actual pages from one of their comics. I love the nod to Boltax, as the main character of this comic, and showing Devastator and Defensor locked in combat, along with Monstructor, was a really nice touch. This is an awesome foreshadowing of the events that began in Spotlight: Omega Supreme. You can almost hear the ominous music starting up, in the last panel here.

Beautiful artwork, some nice fanwanking (and I do love fanwanking!), but I do think this piece would be confusing to any newcomers who don't know that you're trying to combine the War Within comics with the IDW continuity, Franco.
