You know, I always figured that Sunstreaker would join up with the Decepticons, given his personality. Sideswipe, I could imagine with the Autobots, but Sunstreaker always struck me as more of a Decepticon than anything else.
At any rate, the art is gorgeous, with the details being particularly lovely. The choice of moment to dramatize was also appropriate. About time someone decided to pick a scene like this up.
And now, we all have to sit ourselves down and wait for the rest.
